Job Summary:
Piggy's Restaurant of Lake Harmony, a renowned dining establishment located in the picturesque Lake Harmony, PA, is seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the culinary arts to join our team as Cook. If you have a strong interest in cooking and are eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment, this is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your culinary career. No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge. (For example: how to flip an egg in a pan).

Responsibilities:

Assist the culinary team in food preparation and cooking according to Piggy's Restaurant's recipes and standards.
Learn and execute basic cooking techniques and methods under the guidance of experienced chefs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures, including proper storage and labeling.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as directed.
Embrace the opportunity to learn about various culinary styles and cuisines.
Strive to continuously improve your culinary skills and knowledge through training and mentorship.
